At Polar Treat in Perry, ME, we think everyone deserves the full “roadside stand” experience. As the need for gluten-free options grows, we’ve made it our mission to grow right along with it.

From the Grill

Forget the lettuce wraps—we want you to have the real deal. We feature Udi’s GF buns, meaning you can dive into our juicy burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, and even our legendary lobster rolls.

Looking for something toasted? We carry gluten-free bread for:

  • Classic BLTs
  • Gooey Grilled Cheese
  • Savory Lobster and Crab Melts

The Fryer Factor: We know cross-contamination is a big deal. That’s why our fries are cooked in their own dedicated fryer, keeping them 100% GF. We also offer GF chicken tenders (with nuggets coming soon!) and even GF pasta for our rotating specials.


Sweet Treats & Scoops

The indulgence doesn’t stop at dinner. Most of our soft serve is naturally gluten-free, and we have a wide variety of hard-serve flavors to choose from. Best of all? You can finally ditch the cup—we offer Gluten Free cones!

The Game Changer: This year, we’ve introduced the GF Brookie. It’s half brownie, half chocolate chip cookie, and it is the perfect base for a sundae or flurry. Trust us—they are so fudgy and delicious, you’d never know they were gluten free.
